Vision and Objectives:
The Software Engineer, Infrastructure is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and reliable infrastructure solutions to support the organization's software applications. The objective is to ensure the high availability, performance, and security of infrastructure components while enabling efficient software development and deployment processes.
The position is located in Toulouse or in Paris.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure solutions including servers, networks, storage, and cloud services.
Collaborate with software development teams to define infrastructure requirements and design solutions that meet project needs.
Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and management tasks to improve efficiency and reliability.
Monitor and optimize system performance, capacity, and resource utilization to ensure optimal operation.
Implement security best practices and measures to protect infrastructure assets and data.
Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues promptly to minimize downtime and disruption.
Abilities and Competences:
Proficiency in infrastructure design, implementation, and management.
Strong knowledge of server technologies, networking protocols, and storage systems.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Expertise in infrastructure as code tools and technologies (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Puppet).
Familiarity with security principles and practices for infrastructure protection.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Effective communication and collaboration skills.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
2 years of experience in infrastructure engineering or related roles.
Certification in relevant technologies or platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator).
Proficiency in scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Strong understanding of ITIL practices and principles (optional).
