Vision and Objectives:
The Tech Lead is responsible for providing technical leadership and guidance to the development team to ensure the successful delivery of customer-centric projects. The objective is to lead by example, mentor team members, and drive technical excellence to meet project goals and objectives, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
The position is located in Toulouse.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of developers, ensuring they are empowered to make decisions and deliver high-quality software solutions.
Provide technical guidance and support to team members throughout the software development lifecycle, focusing on both product discovery and delivery.
Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to define project requirements/priorities, and deeply understand customer needs and problems.
Architect, design, and implement software solutions that meet project requirements, adhere to best practices, and align with the overall product strategy.
Conduct code reviews, identify areas for improvement, and provide constructive feedback to team members, fostering a learning and growth environment.
Ensure adherence to coding standards, quality guidelines, and best practices, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
Act as a technical point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, facilitating clear communication and alignment.
Abilities and Competences:
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and empower team members.
Proficiency in software development methodologies and best practices, with a focus on agile and lean principles.
Deep understanding of software architecture and design patterns.
Expertise in one or more programming languages and development frameworks.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product management and design.
Experience in mentoring and coaching junior developers, fostering a culture of learning and growth.
Deep customer empathy and the ability to align technical decisions with customer needs and business goals.
Qualifications:
Proficiency in Python, ideally Django framework (4 years +)
Experience in software development with demonstrated leadership abilities.
Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, Jira).
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
