Job description

Vision and Objectives:

The Tech Lead is responsible for providing technical leadership and guidance to the development team to ensure the successful delivery of customer-centric projects. The objective is to lead by example, mentor team members, and drive technical excellence to meet project goals and objectives, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

The position is located in Paris or in Toulouse.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of developers, ensuring they are empowered to make decisions and deliver high-quality software solutions.

  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members throughout the software development lifecycle, focusing on both product discovery and delivery.

  • Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to define project requirements/priorities, and deeply understand customer needs and problems.

  • Architect, design, and implement software solutions that meet project requirements, adhere to best practices, and align with the overall product strategy.

  • Conduct code reviews, identify areas for improvement, and provide constructive feedback to team members, fostering a learning and growth environment.

  • Ensure adherence to coding standards, quality guidelines, and best practices, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Act as a technical point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, facilitating clear communication and alignment.

Profile

Abilities and Competences:

  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and empower team members.

  • Proficiency in software development methodologies and best practices, with a focus on agile and lean principles.

  • Deep understanding of software architecture and design patterns.

  • Expertise in one or more programming languages and development frameworks.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product management and design.

  • Experience in mentoring and coaching junior developers, fostering a culture of learning and growth.

  • Deep customer empathy and the ability to align technical decisions with customer needs and business goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

  • 4 years+ of experience in software development with demonstrated leadership abilities.

  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript).

  • Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, Jira).

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
