Vision and objectives
As a Video Creator, your role is integral to the success of our customers’ media plans. You are responsible for crafting visually captivating and engaging video content that aligns with their brand vision and campaign goals. By leveraging both creative skills and technical expertise, you ensure that every piece of content delivered is not only on time but exceeds client expectations in quality and impact. Your work plays a key role in ensuring a seamless, frictionless experience for our clients, helping them communicate their messages effectively and successfully meet their business objectives.
Responsibilities and Duties
Video Editing (40%)
Transform creative briefs and raw footage into polished, engaging video content that aligns with client goals and brand identity.
Use industry-standard software like Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro to edit videos, incorporating music, sound effects, and graphics for maximum impact.
Collaborate with the creative team to ensure all video edits are aligned with client expectations and deliver seamless storytelling.
Create a wide range of video content, including promotional videos, social media clips, commercials, and instructional content.
Maintain consistency with brand guidelines and ensure all video output meets technical and quality standards.
Stay current with video editing trends and techniques to continually elevate the quality of work.
Graphic Design and Motion Graphics (40%)
Design and animate engaging motion graphics and visual elements to support video content and enhance storytelling.
Create high-quality graphics, including typography, logos, and illustrations, using software like Adobe After Effects, Cinema 4D, and Illustrator.
Animate visual elements in line with client and brand guidelines, ensuring smooth and professional execution of motion graphics.
Maintain consistency across all visual elements, ensuring they adhere to the company’s style guides and visual identity.
Collaboration and Communication (10%)
Work closely with Art Directors, Motion Designers, Project Managers, and Customer Success Managers to ensure client requirements are met.
Participate in regular creative reviews and feedback sessions to align on project goals and ensure quality standards.
Contribute to team meetings and provide updates to the Artistic Director and Director of Post-Production on project progress.
Continuous Improvement and Personal Development (10%)
Stay up to date with the latest developments in video editing, graphic design, and motion graphics software and techniques.
Proactively seek opportunities to improve workflows and adopt new trends that enhance creative output.
Participate in training sessions and workshops to refine skills and maintain a competitive edge in the field.
Abilities and competences
Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite: Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and other Adobe tools like Illustrator and Photoshop, with the ability to create both static and animated visual elements.
Audio Editing: Strong experience in audio editing and sound design, with the ability to synchronize sound effects, voiceovers, and music tracks to elevate video content.
Creative and Technical Skills: Proven ability to combine artistic vision with technical execution, delivering innovative and visually compelling video content that aligns with client objectives.
Motion Graphics and Animation: Proficiency in motion graphics and animation techniques, with the ability to create seamless animations that enhance storytelling and visual engagement.
Attention to Detail: A meticulous eye for detail to ensure that all content is polished, error-free, and adheres to brand and technical standards.
Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high quality.

Qualifications
Education: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in graphic arts, video production, or a related field is required.
Experience: A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in video editing and graphic design, ideally gained in a production company, creative agency, or similar environment. However, recent graduates with exceptional portfolios will also be considered.
Software Proficiency: Demonstrated expertise in industry-standard software, including Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop. Familiarity with Cinema 4D or other motion design tools is a plus.
Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing both video editing and graphic design skills, with a focus on animation and motion graphics. Experience in creating diverse content types (e.g., promotional, instructional) is highly valued.
Languages: Fluency in French is required, and proficiency in English is highly desirable due to the company’s working language, though flexibility is offered where necessary.
